Job Summary
This job will entail working all aspects of Quality within Caban as the company continues its growth. The right candidate will have a blank canvas for establishing a QMS as well as the Quality Infrastructure. Growing and managing the Quality team will be a future goal for any candidate.
Location - Plano, TX
Key Job Responsibilities
- Establish QMS
- Establish Software/Firmware Compatibility Matrix
- Establish product quality inspection criteria
- Establish and monitor quality metrics (including Incoming Inspection, In Process Reviews, In Process Testing, MRB, RMA, Final Inspection)
- Manage and perform quality audits and product inspections
- Support all compliance/agency site audits (UL, etc)
- Establish Non-Conforming Materials (NCM) and Materials Review Board (MRB) processes
- Lead Materials Review Board evaluation & actions
- Create NCM tracking method & manage on a daily basis
- Responsible for corrective action and improvement plans internally and externally
- Responsible for Quality support at key suppliers
- Establish RMA program with Operations & Field Support
- Key Point of Contact for all Engineering Change Order evaluation for Quality
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in quality control, with a clear understanding of quality systems and their practical implementation
- Experience with battery systems, power systems, sheet metal, and pcb assemblies preferred
- Experience with measuring, controlling, and improving production line quality
- Knowledge of IPC, ISO & TL Standards
- QMS Knowledge
- Proficient in Word, Powerpoint & Excel preferred
