Manufacturing Engineering Technician

As a key contributor to our manufacturing engineering team, the ideal candidate will be driven and assertive, and be comfortable with bringing new ideas to the table on a regular basis.

This is a great opportunity to get in with a burgeoning startup at the ground floor level. The individual in this role will be expected to be in the office 5 days/week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operations support of equipment maintenance, tool setup and tool calibration.
  • Maintain records and reporting systems of manufacturing operations.
  • Support final acceptance testing and provide technical support as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and document solutions.
  • Gather and analyze data to optimize processes.
  • Support production layout optimization
  • Maintain Safety standards
  • Understand and comply with quality standards and requirements as documented.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Experience

  • Minimum B.S. degree ME/EE or equivalent industry experience.
  • 0-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • This is a learning environment - we will teach you how to do the job and grow professionally

Skills

  • Working knowledge of machined parts, electromechanical assemblies, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment desired
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Must multi-task and work independently
